- We watched the Australian Episode of Everybody Feed Phil, and Mel Brooks made an appearance. He seemed a bit old but when I looked him up on Wikipedia I was shocked to learn he was 99. Still working, still funny, what a life.by sloped
- I loved his "Silent Movie" - saw it twice on the same day that it came out with two different batches of friends.
- "The funniest man who ever lived?" - I beg to differ.
That is Rik Mayall. Also, the sexiest.
Pity Rik didn't make it to 100 though. Would have loved to have seen another Bottom or two ..

- Two days ago I was in Hamburg on a conference, where I visited the Miniature Wonderland. One of rooms has a miniature 'functioning' airport with planes taxiing etc. In one place near the hangars I noticed a small RV with wings with a small figure fueling it presumably.
I immediately knew I knew it from somewhere, but couldn't figure it out - only after about 20 minutes it hit me - Spaceballs!
