  • Twitter is blocking posting the link for some reason
  • That's fun! 90, generational talent - if only! Hah.
  • I thought Linus is Finnish...
  • It is indeed, but Gitfut defaults to the country set in your github profile, thus, the country is configurable
  • According to wikipedia Linus Torvalds has dual (finnish/american) citizenship. Odd to leave out the country where he was born tho.
  • This is pretty cool. I used to play FUT, so this a nice trip down memory lane. Nice project!
  • Is it getting hammered? None of the names I try do anything nor does clicking on the examples.
  • Like the concept. I actually like the competitive part of it. Reminds me of playing Fifa Years ago.
  • It says I’ve done 8 PRs- I’ve done a few thousand at least lol - you could get a ballpark by looking at “Pull Shark” count.

Commits also look like it’s this year only?

  • it only analyze PR/stars the personal repo, not repos under organiziations.

  • I rarely click on things like this, but this was brilliant; I enjoyed it. Thanks for sharing.
  • Apple isn’t accepting new dating apps on iOS at the moment but one of my stealth projects was called Roster

It presents dating profiles like baseball cards

And acknowledges how people that identify as monogamous are not monogamous - they aspire for monogamy and have a deep discomfort with people that identify as nonmonogamous despite the aspirationally monogamous doing the same things in a harmful way

so “Roster” is just keeping up with the nomenclature and adding some honesty to it

There is a nonmonogamous side too for people that have that level of communication

But the twist is that we inform you when you are in an accidental polycule with varying levels of privacy and disclosure hehe, as well as tools to communicate about it the way that nonmonogamous people have promulgated

The athlete card style reminded me

  • Regarding:

      > And acknowledges how people that identify as monogamous are not monogamous - they aspire for monogamy and have a deep discomfort with people that identify as nonmonogamous despite the aspirationally monogamous doing the same things in a harmful way

Could you elaborate further on this idea? At first, I just disagree completely, but I'm missing your reasoning and the actual thesis behind this idea.
  • Scrolling on mobile seems to cause sizing changes in the image. No idea what the stats are supposed to represent. I wouldnt call it World cup style, this mimics fifa ultimate team cards?

  • the mobile sizing shift is a real bug. Fixing that. and yep, it's FIFA Ultimate Team style, "World Cup" is just the seasonal theme. there's a "how it works" breakdown in the website, it explains in details how the stats are mapped. thank you for your feedback

Not anymore you mean. It was 12 years ago and those accounts still exist

  • Apparently it was ignoring the hiphen at the end, should be working now Nice card veteran
  • The cards are not World Cup cards (I thought it was in the style of the Panini sticker album), and judging by the style of the whole website, it tells that this was vibecoded.
  • Yeah, FUT-style rather than literal World Cup cards the World Cup's just the timing.
  • What’s the actual objection to it being vibe-coded? Would it somehow be more respectable if someone had wasted precious human hours hand-coding this silly thing?
