Nothing like taking in government money and then making billions off of it without giving anything back.
by bmitc
Making cheap, “attritable” hardware is fundamentally at odds with raising billions. Cheap drones are winning on the battlefield, but you can’t just spend your way to making something cheap and effective. Effective solutions are born out of grit, will, desperation and sheer necessity, not out of lazy rich greedy spoiled people who’ve never seen a real battlefield investing money in “cheap weapons” because that’s what’s marketable and cool now. And it’s the American taxpayer footing the bill for this immense waste.
