  • This is cool. Do you have a version that's a browser extension, so as I browse any product on any site, it does the same? Also in cases where it's not a Tick, maybe find similar products that may fit the bill more?
  • Thanks! A browser extension is definitely on our roadmap — the goal is for TickClip to work while you’re browsing products, rather than requiring you to come to us first. And great catch on the alternatives. We already let users ask the system for more product suggestions, but we want to make this much more automatic: if something gets a Clip or Skip, TickClip should proactively surface better-fitting alternatives and explain why they may be better choices.
  • Your website claims not to carry affiliate tags but /verdict/ definitely does so your FAQ claims seem false.

Some prices are shown as "0$" which is obviously a bug.

Seems to me that your decision model is basically "look at camelcamelcamel's slope for the item", which is a decent idea (I do this myself).

  • The model and concept is so strong and we are at the launch stage and surely will fix these bugs and inconsistencies but we assure our users that we aren’t taking any commissions and our model uses different logics and resources and programs and scripts and not camelcamelcamel ! Nice catch though
