- Not even a vague attempt to consider alternative possibilities, like how tuition costs go up every year while the marginal benefit of a higher ed degree continues to drift, and that kids are reconsidering going into deep, lifelong, undischargeable debt for one of these pieces of paper.

(Oddly enough, the author did briefly touch on the other replication crisis--young adults don't have the money or hope to support a family, no doubt in part because of the student loan crisis in the USA at least)
