  • Not even a vague attempt to consider alternative possibilities, like how tuition costs go up every year while the marginal benefit of a higher ed degree continues to drift, and that kids are reconsidering going into deep, lifelong, undischargeable debt for one of these pieces of paper.

    Nope. It's the guy I don't like in the White House. Simple. Convenient. Easy. Probably wrong.

  • And no mention of the replication crisis which should be begging us to revisit the research funding process.

    (Oddly enough, the author did briefly touch on the other replication crisis--young adults don't have the money or hope to support a family, no doubt in part because of the student loan crisis in the USA at least)
