- I don't find many to ask for too many permissions relative to what they do. There are many Slack apps people want, that necessarily need a lot of permissions, to the point where maybe people shouldn't want that app, but that's a different issue.
Calling out some specific popular extensions that overreach for permissions would be a nice addition or followup to your post.
by 1123581321 - cause many admins just click install without looking at the fine print, which grants apps access to far more channel history and user data than they actually need to function.
