I ran Reddit ads recently. They generated very good click-through rates, but essentially no signups.
I will be honest, I had not given onboarding a single thought till the app was mostly built… Hence I put together the landing page, demo and map app with training spots and “bar bounty” leaderboards, these parts were made with AI tools. The rest was a 2.5 year slog built on decades of coding, sport science , and AI since before transformers were a thing (not quite a full decade)
Please help me with your perspective: * Is the landing page too opaque, to “AI-esque”? * Is the product difficult to understand because it doesn't fit an existing category? * Is the copy bad? Specifically the blog: swiftmo.com * Is this simply a case of needing more traffic/patience? * Is exercise just a hard sell?

Looking at the landing page/demo first can you tell me:
* What do you think this product does? * Who do you think it's for? * What problem do you think it solves? * What did you expect it to do before I explained it? * Why would you sign up — or why wouldn't you? * Is there an obvious value proposition that I'm completely failing to communicate?
- I made a mistake with the last launch with a stupid dead link on a landing-page I vibe coded. I'm not against "agents" but seldom use them, I opened an exception for the UI since I had neglected an onboarding flow thinking people would go blog -> app. Lo and behold the agent which worked quite well puts in a deadlink... Anyway, lesson learned.
The app uses machine vision to infer exercise kinematics and from there a whole lot more (fatigue inference, training suggestions, ideal load calculations). I don't feel like a waste of time because it's a technical accomplishment and I know my idea will become normalized in a few years. There is clear value in this product.
I'll coach any new sign ups free of charge if they want because I can learn from them. It has a "human in the loop" feature where video and kinematics are displayed from a client's training session so active feedback and corrections can be given.
