  • Very standard. Google does the same thing for all territorial disputes to appease the whims of the powers that be.

    They would probably do the same if trump announced that Greenland was magically a part of the US now.

  • Half the job of a map maker is to figure out correct borders in disputed areas while keeping both sides happy. In the internet age they can do that by simply showing a different map in each country.
