- Discord | Senior Software Engineer, Application Security | San Francisco, CA | ONSITE | $280K–$330K TC
Discord is where communities and friend groups spend time together, on desktop, mobile, and now more and more inside games and third-party apps built on our platform. That surface area, plus a huge, engaged, occasionally adversarial user base, makes application security a genuinely hard and interesting problem here.
We're hiring a Senior Application Security Engineer to join the Product Security team. Responsibilities include threat modeling and secure design review with product and platform teams, building and improving AppSec tooling (SAST/DAST/dependency scanning), and working directly with engineering teams to remediate findings.
Stack: Python primarily, some TypeScript/React, some Rust, occasional JavaScript. Runs on GCP.
Looking for: hands-on AppSec experience (not just compliance-flavored security), comfort reading and reviewing code across languages, and sound judgment on prioritizing real risk over checklist security.
Interview process: recruiter call, coding round, HM interview, virtual onsite, decision.

CNIO is one of Europe's leading cancer research centres. We're looking for a senior scientific computing engineer to join the IT, Scientific Computing and AI area and take ownership of the infrastructure behind our research, from genomics pipelines to AI models. You'll be the senior scientific computing person in the area, reporting directly to me (the area head), and you'll help define where scientific computing at CNIO goes over the next few years.

- MONUMENTAL | https://www.monumental.co/ | Amsterdam, The Netherlands | Full Time | Onsite
We make robots that autonomously construct buildings, starting with bricklaying.
There's a lot of vapourware in robotics, but we're deploying robots across multiple concurrent sites today - and generating revenue. In the last couple of months, our robots have built affordable social housing, health care living units, canal walls in the historic city centre of Amsterdam, and a youth sports centre. Help us to build things that matter in the long run.
We're looking for experienced software engineers for many roles. You can help us solve problems like:
- Data sync and analytics queries across a fleet of robots (that can be offline for hours at a time)
- Modelling buildings in code and finding the right UI for operators to edit them
- Designing systems for robots to drive safely and fully autonomously around a building site
Check out the progress we've already made on Atrium, our operating system for robotics: https://www.monumental.co/atrium
We're rapidly scaling up operations - we'll be building in the UK soon - and we need experienced engineers who can build the systems that manage all of that complexity. If you think that 'full-stack' could reasonably mean debugging firmware, mixing buckets of mortar _and_ writing React components, we are looking for you. Robotics experience not required!

- Wikimedia Foundation | Lead Product Manager, Security | REMOTE (US + 18 countries) | Full-time
I lead the security and safety team for Wikipedia, at the Wikimedia Foundation. I’m hiring a product manager to lead our security roadmap and steer the priorities of our security engineering team.
It’s a high-pace, shipping-heavy time for the whole project right now, as we are dedicating ourselves to surviving all the ways AI is messing with us and the internet, and getting to the other side of it. I joined myself about a year ago, and have found it to be a great time and place to swing big and surprise people.
This is a PM role and PM background is certainly helpful, but it’s not strictly required (everyone has the first PM job at some point). A technical background and security expertise are a must for this role, so we’re also open to people in engineering roles, who have demonstrated PM-relevant skills and are interested in making a pivot.
You can apply at https://job-boards.greenhouse.io/wikimedia/jobs/8140060?gh_s... - we don’t auto-filter based on AI or anything like that, I will personally see your resume.
by konklone - I‘ve been considering applying at WikiMedia for a while now, but [my country] is not in the listed countries. Is there a chance you‘ll expand this list in the future?by ch_sm
- Working for Wikimedia would make me actually consider moving back to the USA for the opportunity.(I'm in Japan for reference.) I previous contributed to Mediawiki and the extensions ecosystem for about a decade.by Washuu
- PlantingSpace | Full-time | Remote (EU time zone) + Quarterly Meet-ups | https://planting.space
We're building a system that represents domain knowledge as modular probabilistic models — making analysis rigorous and transparent. Users can connect these models flexibly into larger structures. The system enforces consistency across them, and propagates uncertainty through each step. Our first applications are in finance and scientific research, with use cases ranging from equity valuation and distress monitoring, to particle physics.
We're hiring for the following openings:
* Engineering Program Lead
* Backend Software Engineer
* Quantitative Modelling Engineer
* Bayesian Software Engineer
* Program Synthesis Engineer
* Analytic Learning Algorithm Researcher
* Product Managers and Business Development
* Domain Experts - Valuation, Quantitative Default-Probability, or Interest Rate Prediction Models: to collaborate on use cases, from opportunity validation through production
We’ve recently released a series of recordings from one of our quarterly team retreats, to share a look into how we work, and some of the technical problems we’re solving. A few team members sat down and talked through these topics, unscripted, and real. If you consider applying to join us, they offer a glimpse into our culture, and what working with us is really like.
