  • The pressures he cites are real but the conclusions are not.

    - No one forces you to actively promote AI like Ted Ts'o or Linus. No one forces you to say "it is just a tool", "the ones that were fired were overhired during COVID" etc.

    - Contributing to open source with AI is not "a gift", it is selfish, lazy and for your personal brand.

    - You can oppose AI by trusted means that politicians have used for millenia. No active resistance is needed. You pretend to embrace the tech and then find unfortunate difficulties.
