- Hacker News
- Another one: https://elijahpotter.dev/hnsansai
- Somewhat absurd imo seeing two of these types of sites being the top posts. But as they say the market speaks. What would be more fascinating imo is to track the average article shift from removal over time.by CorvusCrypto
- Alternatively, go to /newest and vote for what you want to see on the front page.by paulnpace
- This makes Hacker News usable again. Thank you.by WolfeReader
- Can you also make one that filters out Rust ads? My interest in HN has decreased significantly since everyone is trying to spread Rust religion.by tenox7
- yes. you can make one that filters arbitrary topics.
here is the demo (best viewed on desktop): https://sprinklz.io/demo/hackerNews
as well as the main site: https://sprinklz.io
where you can build and save arbitrary feeds.
by sammy0910 - HN crowd criticize social media for algorithmic feeds. They are proud that HN is more organic.
Now they want exactly that when they don't like what they see?
by jryle70 - Is this HN crowd in the room now?
It's understandable, at this point, to be weary of pelicans.
by emil-lp - Didn't you post this one enough times already? Kinda spammyby efilife
- I don't want to be the AI-hater guy, but I really like this. It was so much easier to find articles I really wanted to click on. In the first 30 articles I found quite a few, which is unusual for front-page HN these days.
There are no links to the comments, though! That's a bit of a showstopper for me.
by kelnos - I initially read that as "Hacker News will reduce priority for AI driven content" and was wondering why it was announced on a random website instead of this one.by hk__2
- I previously worked on this, but made substanital improvements to the underlying implementation, and now the filters work much better.
This is also a general purpose tool that you can modify/customize
by sammy0910 - It's slowby tosti
- Does this use AI to determine whether content is about AI?by sssilver
- yes.by sammy0910
- How else could it possibly be done?by kqp
- you could look for the substring "AI" in the title and get 95% of the way there.by MrLeap
- If you prefer something closer to the original layout: https://www.unslop.news/by layer8
- How does it do its filtering?
- Slow but necessary
My interest in HN has decreased since it feels every other news is about AI
However I'll use the other links provided here, as it takes 10s to display
by bibelo - I like AI and AI news, but can't stand the endless Anslopic Claude ads.
All this site ever talks about is Claude. It's so annoying. We'd use it if it was good (it's not).
- something that makes this website different from the others, is it lets you filter by _any_ combination of topics, and allows you to edit them live and in real time.

thanks for the your thoughts, and i will also keep working on making it faster.
by sammy0910 - HN reflects what their users (or people trying to influence them) post most. A few years ago it was flooded with crypto, a few years later it will be flooded with something else.by ASalazarMX
