- Idk if it's the boards or the market. Been applying for 6 months. 4 call backs only 2 relevant, no offers. Day rates are nominally less than I was earning 10 years ago, which are about 1/3 worse due to inflation.
So shit all round tbh. Senior dev/SRE/AWS cloud engineer w/ 15 years experience. Bottom seems to have fallen out the market.
by nprateem - LinkedIn is purposely ruining their job search anyway. They're replacing the decent filter based search (with some of the better filtering options I've seen on job boards) with some fuzzy "AI" search feature. Garbage.by yilomap

Isn't that an exaggeration? Linkedin search works fine for me. I dislike all the other social media crap of linkedin, but I have found all my jobs in the last 16 years via linkedin.
by dakiol - Working with good recruiters is my best advice now. They will actually talk to hiring managers and good corps will pay money for good people.
If you recieve any recruiter inbound, I would take their meeting and then let them know your goal of getting placed at whatever type of role youre looking for.
