    [APP] £3.59 (or local equivalent). I priced it to be approximately the same as a latte, which is my standard unit of measurement for impulse purchases.

    [APP] Everything is a read-only view on Health Connect, and the app has no internet permission. It can't delete your Health Connect data and it can't transmit data.

    [DOG] No, but my cat jumped on my keyboard when I was in the middle of typing an insightful LinkedIn post and made me send RUBBISH to my THOUSANDS (20) of followers

    [APP] It fetches your data hourly from Health Connect if granted background access, and it works with Android battery saving rules.

    [APP] I've been using it daily and testing and refining it for months. I realise just typing this sentence means someone will find a critical bug the first time they run it and I will look like a FOOL.

    [APP] Metric, Imperial, and you can also configure per metric group to match the strange mix we have in the UK. No furlongs though.

    [APP] I hate apps with subscriptions, and no internet permission means no backend costs so the app is paid once

    [DOG] Vets are crooks, is all I will say on this.

  • Nice idea. Having health data from different apps in one place without sending anything to a server is a strong selling point. Also, naming it after the dog was clearly the right decision :)

I can safely say (or maybe confess) that this is exactly my situation and one that I'd love to see resolved. I currently use Oura, Whoop, and Fitbit devices simultaneously (testing out which I like best), and I think Google Health claims that it's integrating data between devices, but it's kinda inscrutable how much it actually is. Something that really verified data convergence between apps would be great, as well as a way to tell which data (in the converged app) was coming from which source, so you could identify which devices/apps you really needed to keep. I might just be an outlier, though... Which devices/apps are currently supported?

  • Ngl, at least for me, an AI-generated logo is immediately off-putting, even if the app itself is actually great. Just taking a similar icon from something like The Noun Project would probably be better if you can't make one yourself or ask someone for it. (I understand the logo is of your dog! It's the specific ugly AI-generated style I'm talking about, not the contents)

    I'm also not really sure on how this app is better than the other similarly vibecoded Health Connect dashboards which are open source and cost nothing:
