  • Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (remote; strong overlap with AU/EU, mornings with US East) Remote: Yes (worldwide, async-friendly) Willing to relocate: No Résumé/CV: kamranulhaq.com / matrixtrak.com Email: heloo@kamranulhaq.com Technologies: C#, .NET Framework → .NET 8/10 modernization, ASP.NET (Web Forms/MVC), WCF → CoreWCF/gRPC, WinForms/WPF, SQL Server, Azure, Docker, CI/CD. Specialty: production rescue — thread-pool starvation, memory leaks, timeout cascades, slow pages, brittle integrations. Notes: 26+ years building and repairing production .NET systems. I stabilize first, then modernize incrementally (strangler pattern, staged cutovers) — no big-bang rewrites. No fix, no fee on rescue engagements; free 30-minute diagnostic. Fixed-price assessments from $2.5k; smaller focused fixes from $349. Happy to sign an NDA.

    Software architect / tech lead with ~10 years building identity, authentication and secure-communications systems for banks and government clients. My focus is scalability: backend systems that hold up under load in regulated environments. I've led stack modernization, migration of legacy products to Kubernetes and cloud, CI/CD, and supply chain security. Earlier career in the space industry (ESA ground segment, EUMETSAT, NASA).

    Also doing an MSc in cybersecurity, with thesis work on adversarial ML against EDR systems and energy-efficient IoT firmware attestation.

    Open to contract work: software architecture and governance, code audit, threat modeling, and CRA/supply chain security for product teams without an in-house security lead.

    I’m a distributed systems engineer by trade, more recently having fun getting GPUs to go brrr instead of storage drives. I am looking for full-time or contract work, in varying capacities. I typically am most interested in building out new systems, or optimizing the performance of existing ones. I prefer working in small teams, with lots of ownership over the product.

    My most recent large project was to train audio localization models to detect and locate fast FPV drones (30m/s) in “realtime”. I handled dataset design and field collection, model architecture and training, and tools for testing, debugging, and visualizing all the things—the full experience. This was deployed on Nvidia jetson devices, with 3ms inference latency, with a high degree of accuracy even in new locations in a few months time.

    I’m interested in applying that mix of ML and systems work beyond audio (or to audio!): getting a first model working, building training infrastructure, or making training and inference faster. Happy to own the ML side for a team new to it, or tackle a particular piece alongside people who already know the process. I’ve built training pipelines on self-hosted and cloud GPUs, and enjoy figuring out the hardware and deployment tradeoffs too.

  • SEEKING WORK | Laravel / PHP and React / Inertia / Livewire Remote: Yes

    Location: UK (Flexible on your timezone)

    Relocation: No

    Languages\Tech:

    * PHP + Laravel + PHPUnit/Pest + Livewire/Inertia

    * Javascript/Typescript, React, Zustand

    * Python

    Backend: Laravel, Node

    Frontend: React , Vue , Livewire

    PHP/JS/TS Development, Extremely competitive rates available.

    I build new projects and revitalize legacy code. I work mostly with Laravel and React/Inertia or Livewire.

    I integrate modern tools pragmatically, adding real-time features via Websockets (Laravel Reverb etc) and AI capabilities like RAG for context-aware search and content generation.

    I develop methodically – implementing tests for new features and maintaining clear documentation while keeping sharp focus on shipping tangible results. Through proactive communication, we'll collaboratively define the sweet spot between code quality and delivery pace.

    Fullstack/product engineer, mostly working with TypeScript and Python. I'm especially interested in developer tools, AI/agent infrastructure and small teams with a lot of ownership.

    I maintain AutoForm, an open-source TypeScript library with 3.5k+ GitHub stars and 50k+ weekly npm downloads. I also built a TikTok Year in Review product that handled ~10M visits in one month, and currently work on an AI agent product using TypeScript/Python, MCP, subagents and human-in-the-loop workflows.
