  • Still one of the better free options for kernel-side GPU debugging on Linux. Reading ftrace/perf events into a timeline gives you a view of the GPU scheduler that neither Chrome tracing nor vendor tools really match. Pairs nicely with perfetto for the system-level picture. The amdgpu/i915 event parsing has aged surprisingly well for Mesa work.

    There are several links to 404 pages in credits section which makes me think this project is a total slop. Hope I'm wrong.
