- TDK SA C-90 were my favorites - excellent sound quality and durability, not too expensive.by fallinditch
- Cool. Just checked for the tape I have in a drawer within arms reach: a BASF Chrome II from sometime between 1997 and 2000. There's a techno live set from the early aughts on it, that's the only thing I know about it lolby spankibalt
- Related. Others?

by dang - Very cool. I really need to get back into recording to my cassettes. It was a lot of fun just as a way to explore music and then burn what I liked into a fun format. This project has not gotten a lot of love from me since some life changes but this is what I was using to generate printable J-Cards from my navidrome instance.

If anyone is interested it would be a good place to point your agent to.
by hankbond - I have a stack of cassettes that came with a TI-99/4A I bought. 4 are 1978-1983 Realistic C-60s with what look like homebrew games. I wonder what "NAME THAT BONE" is all about. 1 is a 1973-1977 Realistic C-90, highlights include "CHECK BOOK" (identity theft ahoy!) and "LUNAR LANDER"
Edit: here you go, source code for "NAME THAT BONE".

by buildsjets - I got really into this design aesthetic a while ago. Once you recognize it, you see it more and more. Some examples/sources:
